It was socked in, but there could be views from about 2/3 up on an open ridge. This is a gated road with no signs about entry so it seems fine to use it. It has steep, rocky sections, but the road is being kept cleared for access to the radio tower. No debris from lookout seen - radio tower is on likely site. It was a nice hike.
