We followed Eric Willhite's description that it went from high point on Wynochee Valley Road and also Leslie Romer's to park near gate just past MP 18 and hike back up the road and look for game trail. We saw no game trail. We entered woods at the thinnest point we could find, but it was mainly just a mass of vegetation everywhere. Many of these trip reports are from a few years ago, and we have discovered that the old routes grow over quickly on the Olympic Peninsula.
