This is on the same road as O'Farrell/South Prairie. I recommend a bike as there are little views or flowers. There are some steep, gravelly sections which might be tough on a bike, and the last bit of road to O'Farrell is covered in thousands of downfall. Pretty smooth sailing to Carbon Ridge after that detour.
