It had been mostly logged out in September 2021 so it was a relatively fast trip. Last water source is just over 6 miles. The trail makes U there and then begins heading uphill for a long stretch. If you plan to stay at lookouts, fill up here! If weather had not been moving in, we would have taken an extra day to do a leisurely day hike up to Windy Joe Lookout as it is so close - just behind Manning Park Lodge basically for that trailhead.
