Snow impeded our getting to summer parking; winter route listed on Willhiteweb was impassable due to brush; your best bet is to go up the motorcycle trail to a higher road; look for nasty looking rocky old road bed; then go up that a bit; go left and up rib - the path is steep, rocky, and has blowdown, but you can see where others walked; gets you to upper road to lookout site.
