We hauled our water in and stayed about a mile below the intersection to Lookout Mtn and North Ridge sites. We intended to go up the next day, but it was smoky, and our water supply was low. To stay overnight, you must haul in your water or time it so there is some snow left. This is a motorcycle trail, but we only saw about six over the two days. View are great! Plan to go back sometime and do it as a day hike as getting to North was much longer and hard to do in a day. We say no other hikers.
