You can hike motorcycle trail 945 from Road 1912 (off 19 and 410) about 4 miles and 2300 gain, but it is buggy and never gets out of woods until the top. I found it tedious as I was solo - nothing really to look at on the way. You can also drive it = 410-19-1900 -1902 - really lovely system of roads. I took a more creative patchwork of jeep roads up, but I don't recommend it! You might get away with sleeping in your car up there - really gorgeous spot. No one was around the whole time I was there, but from where I camped across the valley, I saw headlights up there around sunset.
