Start on the Pyramid Mountain trail off Road 5900-112 (5900 goes off the Entiat River Road about six miles before it ends). Hike about 1.5 miles on the trail through glorious flowers and views to rib heading up to Crow Hill. You go off trail when you see that. There isn't much in the way of trees or blowdown to avoid - just go straight up the rib. At the top you will see some debris and glorious views. In the summer, butterflies were plentiful. There is no water, and it can be hot so be sure to bring enough. This ridge has three sites: Big Hill where there is an AWS cabin and Pyramid Mountain. I put info already under those names. Be aware - no water at Big Hill unless someone left some in the cabin and no reliable water in late summer anywhere but Pyramid Meadows about two miles prior to the summit.
