Mileage is roundtrip. There is some view from the site. We did not find any debris. It has grown over probably as Leslie Romer mentioned seeing some green wood up there. We camped (slept in car) near the gate - no one seems to be out that way. It was quiet and dark but nothing special otherwise in terms of a campspot. There is very little in the way of camping out there, and it's a bit of a drive for us.
