Kari has been as far as Stujack Pass. It was steep to there, and the pass is narrow. We had dogs so couldn't go up to the site. You need to be careful about the route is what I have heard. You can camp down at the lake (not terribly exciting scenery), but I believe I noted water in the meadow below Stujack Pass so sometimes camping there might work which would break up the climb into two days.
