We had already visited Texas Pond, but since road was closed way down due to downfall and snow, we gave up getting to Rinker Point as we were exhausted. This time it was sunny but cold. Road open and not too bad plus gate was open so I followed Eric Willhite's instructions but was able to drive to it. Glad that was the case as it wasn't all that interesting. No debris that he found, but he knows that was the area. I kind of wish I had drive out the other way to check for views and maybe go to actual Rinker Point, but I was tired of driving after visiting two prior sites and wanted to check out Suiattle Huckleberry for backpacking. The location for this site is ambiguous.
