It depends on how you go. There is a way to drive there, but we didn't know which way for that so just chose a walking route - some off trail and some on road. There is a great view there, but someone had broken the lock. We were able to go in but worried about ever coming back to stay for the view as too many can drive in and destroy. The cabin that was there below the lookout burned in a fire a couple years after we were there. There were places to camp below lookout, but again it might not be peaceful. This could make a nice snowshoe destination if you can get close enough on the road to be a reasonable distance.
