The roads getting out there tend not to be marked anywhere so be sure you have a GPS program and try to link it up with Eric's maps ahead of time. Even so, it wasn't exactly easy. Eric says good gravel road access - referring to 2923. It starts out fine but quickly deteriorates into super overgrown, pot holes, ruts, uneven surfaces, quite narrow with few turnouts in places. No one seems to be really using that road so running into others is not super likely. You need a beefy vehicle and not mind getting it scratched by the thickets surrounding the road. There's no view so I wouldn't bother with this one unless you like crazy roads. The trees are beautiful. The mileage is hiking the even worse road that is now closed.
