Both times I have been there we hiked a substantial bit as the road is pretty sucky when wet, and the last bit is only good if you have a jeep. We stayed in it the second time and cleaned it the best we could. It was full of stuff and is privately owned. We barely had room to sleep on a small section of floor. It was really cold, but the views were amazing, and no-one came up either time I have camped up there. Last time we camped in meadows below lookout and enjoyed the chilly views. The last time in the lookout as one of our friends takes care of it. It's a long way down to potty.
