It does have an AWS cabin in addition to the lookout remnants. This is a gorgeous view but oh so frigid when we visited on September 30 - chill wind didn't help the 39 degrees. The cabin was full of biker gear - it was dark and dank inside but had what appeared to be a functional stove. There is a picnic table up there and room for another set of campers, but they had spread their stuff all over outside too including in the other parking area - clearly giving the sign that other campers were not wanted. I imagine that cabin is popular particularly when it is super cold. You can drive up to it if you have high clearance as there were several large rocks on the road. We drove there after doing the long overnight trip to Pyramid Mountain.
