We secured reservations for the camp below the lookout from the Park. You have to do this when there is still snow for water. We melted snow at lookout and had our dinner up there. Views are amazing! We were there before it was staffed for the season. My mom had always wanted to go there as she loved Jack Kerouac the author who was a lookout there so some of her ashes made it there. Views are incredible, and it was really special due to my mom talking about it. Wish I would have taken her up there. This was my 100th lookout site/structure so it was good I had a special crew with us. The boat is kind of expensive so get 6 people if you can. Would go back if possible someday. Now I'm at 260 and only Adams remains for the final structure to visit.
