We attempted this one after we went to Copper Ridge Lookout. It wasn't a bad hike, and we found the unmarked turnoff, but it quickly turned into a brush bash. We just weren't up for that as we were tired out. Apparently, the hike all the way to Goat Mtn summit is quite nice, and there is supposed to be a view from the site. We might try again when more time and energy. It was a woodsy hike to the point where we gave up. Note, the lookout is not at the top, but rather on a side trail to the right part way up. Be sure to look at the USGS overlay on Caltopo. There is a "GOAT MTN" marking right about where the lookout would have been. The GPS coordinates given here are about right.
