We hiked up it the whole way as our low slung car couldn't do that road. This was in June of 2018. It's now a rental so my guess is the road has been fixed. It was a lovely view from up there. We camped in the area along Mud River and visited Sugarloaf and Tyee also. We hike a lot as our car wasn't liking any of those roads. Put in a lot of mileage to visit these three. With the right vehicle, you won't be hiking as much as we were back then.
